This site contains information about the Dalai Lama: a short
bibliography including information about his discovery, education,
political leadership, and work in establishing the Tibetan Governement-in-Exile
in Dharamsala, India. There are also several quotes from the
Dalai Lama and short excerpts from his work.

Free Tibet Campaign, based in London, stands for the Tibetans'
right to decide their own future. It campaigns for an end to
the Chinese occupation of Tibet and for the Tibetans' fundamental
human rights to be respected. It is independent of all governments
and is funded by its members and supporters.

In exile, the Tibetan
Government has been reorganized according to modern democratic
principles. It administers all matters pertaining to Tibetans
in exile, including the re-establishment, preservation and development
of Tibetan culture and education, and leads the struggle for
the restoration of Tibet's freedom. The Tibetan people, both
inside and outside Tibet, consider their Government in Exile
based in Dharamsala, North India, to be the sole legitimate government
of Tibet. This site has the latest news, current status and information
on the Tibetan Governement-In-Exile. It also includes the teaching
schedule of the Dalai Lama and information about Tibetan Buddhism,
the Panchen Lama, Tibetan Medicine and Tibetan culture.
- Friends of Tibet New Zealand
New Zealand lobby group, headed by Thuten Kesang, formed to support
and promote an independent Tibet, with branches in Auckland,
Christchurch, Dunedin and Nelson. All activities carried out
by the group are accomplished by peaceful/non-violent means.

document is to provide central access point to online resources
dealing with Tibetan art.
- Milarepa
Milarepa
promotes universal compassion through education, fund raising,
economic action and the Tibetan Freedom Coalition (TFC). The
TFC coordinates major figures in the industries of fashion, music,
film and sports to take a stand against human rights violations
in Tibet and China, as well as throughout the world. To this
end, the coalition sponsors events to educate individuals and
companies about the Tibetan situation, and our connections to
this and other injustices worldwide. The TFC also coordinates
actions which work within these industries to develop sustainable
business practices which encourage environmental and human rights.

even a taste of the meaning behind the architecture. There is
a simple history, distilled from a highly scholary essay by by

an explanation of stupa symbolism coutesy of HH Dilgo Khyentse

on the plight of Tibet
Tibet Online is operated by the international Tibet Support Group
community, providing information on the plight of Tibet and serving
as a virtual community space for the movement. This movement
is dedicated to bringing about substantive negotiations without
preconditions between the Chinese and Tibetan Governments, so
that they can find a solution which will bring an end to the
suffering of the Tibetan people, in accordance with the people's
right to self-determination.
